Becoming a member of AFC

AFC (Action for Construction) we are part of the National Training Group that works side by side with the CITB who fund the administration of these groups. The Training Groups are regional and what we do is support the CITB and help levy registered companies tap into funding for Training. (Think of us as the CITB Training Department).

To be eligible to become a member of Action for Construction, you must be a CITB Levy payer and have an office in the Nottingham/shire or Derby/shire area.

To receive funding from the CITB your Levy returns MUST BE up to date.

If you tick those boxes, here are some of the benefits you would receive:

Subsidised training with discounts from providers list prices
Advice and Support with claiming CITB Grants.
Information on other funding available from other avenues, construction, or general business support.

A direct link between local education/training providers.
A local forum that focuses on current training and legislative issues and builds links between members and associated construction organisations.
Free events with speakers and networking opportunities.
